Liminal Space 2014 Minnesota State Arts Board Exhibition
Liminal Space, features new works by Lynn Speaker, which are records of investigations that embrace uncertainty & transition. Speaker’s work is informed by the North Shore landscape & what she finds around her— stones, bones, plants, trees, animals. In searching & discovery these found objects are ultimately remnants of place, time, memory, & experience. The exhibition was held in January 2015 at the Grand Marais Art Colony, Grand Marais, MN, as part of Speaker's 2014 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant activity.
Lynn Speaker is a fiscal year 2014 recipient of an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
